Crown Towers Wins Three Awards at 2009 HotelClub Awards Media Release
October 2009... CrownTowers' General Manager, Andrew Cairns, is pleased to announce that CrownTowers has been named one of the Top Three hotels in Victoria, Best Luxury Hotel and Best Service Hotel in the prestigious 2009 HotelClub Awards.
Crown Towers Awarded Three More Accolades
Media Release August 2009 - Just as Crown Towers has completed a comprehensive $65 million AUD enhancement of the hotel’s accommodation rooms and suites, the hotel has been awarded three more accolades to its extensive list of awards.
Crown Towers was named best five star hotel and named highly commended business hotel at industry publication, Hotel Management magazine’s annual HM Awards held on Friday 14 August.
Crown Towers Voted Top Hotel – Australia/ Pacific by Condé Nast Traveler Readers Media Release Crown TowersMelbourne has been voted Top Hotel – Australia / Pacific at the prestigious U.S. Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards in New York. The results are derived from the largest independent poll of consumers’ preferences, the Readers’ Choice Survey, second in size only to the U.S. census. With a record number of more than 28,000 travellers voting this year, the list shows an even greater global variety and depth.
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards gala ceremony was held at the Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York on Wednesday, 10 October 2007.

HotelClub Hotel Awards of Australia, New Zealand & the Pacific Islands 2007 Crown Towers won double awards - Winner in the Top 3 Hotels in Victoria and Winner in the Top 3 Hotels in Oceania (Crown Towers is the only hotel from Victoria to win this category) The winners were selected through an independent consumer survey held from April 2007 to June 2007 by HotelClub in conjunction with Getaway and ninemsn. Over 50,000 nominations from over 21,000 respondents in more than 200 countries were received from consumers – the most important panel to select and recognise the most popular hotels and resorts in the region.
2006 / 07 Best Business Hotels in Asia Awards Crown Towers was also awarded Best Business Hotel in Australia during the 2006 / 07 Best Business Hotels in Asia Awards. The Best Business Hotels in Asia Awards was first established in 1998 to recognise hotels that provide business travellers with excellence in service and facilities in the highly competitive Asia Pacific hotel industry. The prestigious awards honour the top business hotels from 14 countries across Asia Pacific in 17 different categories.
Elite Traveler 2007 – Top 101 Suites in the world In the Elite Traveler 2007 Pure Decadence listing (published out of New York), Crown Towers is one of two Australian properties selected for feature on the list of Top 101 Suites Around the World. The Georgian Manor Villa at Crown Towers has been named among the world’s most luxurious hotel and resort suites. The list was determined by Elite Traveler’s editors, a panel of globe-trotting celebrities and luxury travel advisors. The luxury lifestyle magazine is distributed aboard private jets in more than 90 countries.

Crown Towers appointed official Hotel for 12th FINA World Championships Media Release The 2007 World Swimming Championships Corporation has announced that Crown Towers is the Official Hotel for the 12th FINA World Championships. In excess of 2000 athletes from up to 175 countries, as well as team officials and staff, FINA representatives and members of the international media will stay in hotel accommodation during the World Championships which begin on 17 March 2007. As the Official FINA Family Hotels, Crown Towers and Crown Promenade Hotel will accommodate all visiting VIP’s and technical officials attending the Championships.
